Regents' Lectureship Program

After more than 50 years and hundreds of speakers, The Regents' Lectureship Program has come to a close.

Over the years, this program has brought to the University distinguished speakers who have pursued careers in arts, letters, sciences, or business substantially outside the academic profession, including James Baldwin, Sandra Day O'Connor, Steve Reich, Ernst Gombrich, Carrie Mae Weems, Amoz Oz, Sally Ride, VS Naipaul, Yo-Yo Ma, Nobel Prize winner Toni Morrison, and Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales.
